The Letterman is Back!

Ever since I left for Papua New Guinea, I haven’t posted anything on my blog.  It is only now again.

Many might ask why.  (And even if you don’t ask, I will tell you.)

Presently, the Internet is a facility that is not easily accessible nor affordable in this country.  I mean no offense to the citizens of this country.  The fact is that most technologies are coming to this archipelago only lately.  Also, connections offered in unlimited packages in the Philippines are offered here in limited and highly-priced plans.  However, I am optimistic that the telecoms here (only two of them, in fact) are working towards making their Internet services better and cheaper.

I look forward to sharing more thoughts and experiences with my readers as I spend my next few (?) years here in PNG.
